ICBC Claims

HOW DO I START THE PROCESS?

Step 1: Call ICBC Claim Center and start your claim with them

Step 2: If you haven't already, go to your doctor (you don't need a referral for massage therapy, but it's good to have one on file)

Step 3: Write down all important information like your claim number, date of the accident and what happened

Step 4: Book an appointment

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Be prepared with your claim number and information regarding the accident. You can fill out an online health history form specific to your accident to help provide more information. If you would like, it would be handy to have some shorts / tank top for the assessment portion of your appointment, but otherwise you don't need to bring anything else with you.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

As registered health care providers, we are set-up to directly bill ICBC for your appointment.

We are able to directly bill for 12 sessions within 12 weeks of the accident. Referral from a doctor is not required.

The initial ICBC appointment is an hour long, and the following subsequent appointments are 45 minutes.

Following 12 weeks, there are steps to ensure you're been taking care of and if you require more treatments, it is best to see your doctor and discuss your treatment plan with your RMT.

If you have extended health care benefits, please visit this link for more information: https://www.icbc.com/claims/injury/Pages/other-benefit-providers.aspx

WHEN WILL SEE RESULTS?

Rome wasn't built in a day, and unfortunately you most likely won't see any results that soon either. However, each session is aimed towards making your daily activities (work, school, children, etc.) much easier with less pain. Your results will vary as injuries do range from mild to severe. It's best to keep in mind that healing can take anywhere from days to years, also depending on your home care regime (stretching, strengthening, icing, breathing activities).
